Eighteen-year-old Harper has grown up under the thumb of her career marine father. Ready to live life her own way and to experience things she's only ever heard of from the jarheads in her father's unit, she's on her way to college at San Diego State University.

Thanks to her new roommate, Harper is introduced to a world of parties, gorgeous guys, family, and emotions. She finds herself being torn in two as she quickly falls in love with both her new boyfriend, Brandon, and her roommate's brother, Chase. Despite their dangerous looks and histories, both men adore Harper and would do anything for her, including taking a step back if it would mean she'd be happy.

seriously? drama for drama’s sake whatever happened to simple love? n why does this world revolve around harper…you know what’s sad? the harper character seems one dimensional…chases' reaction to her pregnance to her….yea end of love story they live happily ever after…but no she’s a chick every dude wants? so all that’s good about her is shes pretty? or there’s something about her? zzzz blah…waste my $15 for this and stealing harper...

Long and boring. Really hard to get into; I ended up skim reading the majority of this story because I don't like to leave books I've started unfinished.
  • :(

Ugh, why did she have to go with Brandon? He is a sweetheart, but Chase was patient and all, unlike Brandon, always saying that she is his. I would give this a five star if she ended up with Chase.

This book ruined me. I was so happy and laughing and plummeted to crying and hurting for her so much, i cant even finish the book I'm so sad and angry
  • Meh

The first few hundred pages were great (the sample) however as the story progressed I felt the plot thinning and becoming weaker, which was disappointing. It was as though the Author was slowing running out of ideas, so to spice it up she threw in some outrageous plot twists. The main character didn't know what she wanted and was too reliant on others for the most part, which quickly grew tiresome, hence the two stars.
